Lolit Solis, sinabing ilaan ang Good Friday para magnilay at magdasal: “Kailangan magdasal at magnilaynilay”

- Lolit Solis said she did not make any regular post on IG on Good Friday because she feels the need to pray and reflect on what has happened in her life

- She said this is the time to be thankful for all things received from the Almighty and to show remorse for sins committed

- The veteran showbiz columnist also reminded everybody that each and every person has a huge debt of gratitude to Providence, which they should be thankful for

- She then said that everyone has an obligation to thank the Almighty for the gift of life

Lolit Solis said she did not upload a regular post on Instagram on Good Friday because she believes the day should be set aside for prayers and reflection.

The veteran columnist said this is the time to be thankful for all things she has received from the Almighty and to show remorse for whatever sin committed.

“Wala ako sa mood gumawa ng IG today. Kasi nga Good Friday at mas kailangan natin magdasal at magnilaynilay sa mga bagay na naganap sa buhay natin,” Manay Lolit said.

“Iyon ito ang panahon para maging Thankful tayo sa lahat ng binigay sa atin ni God, at magsisi ng tapat sa mga bagay na hindi maganda na nagawa natin. So many things to be thankful, so many good things na binigay ni God na talagang itatanong mo kung karapat dapat ba na natanggap mo,” she added.

She also said there were also some heartaches, though she indicated that everything happens for a reason and that the Almighty knows what is best for everyone.

“May mga heartaches din, dahil kinuha niya ng mas maaga ang ilan mahal mo, pero mas alam niya siguro ang nararapat para sa kanila,” the veteran columnist said.

Manay Lolit then reminded everyone of their huge debt of gratitude to the Almighty, which each one should be thankful for.

“Ang laki ng dapat natin tanawin utang na loob sa lahat ng mga bagay na binibigay niya sa atin. Ang laki ng dapat natin ipagpa salamat sa buhay na ipinahiram niya hangga ngayon,” she said.

Towards the end of her only post on Good Friday, the veteran columnist reiterated that the day should be set aside from prayers and reflection.

“Sa araw na ito, dasal at pagninilay ang dapat natin gawin, Salamat sa lahat my dear God. You have always been good to us. Amen,” Manay Lolit wrote in her post.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila.
