Anne Curtis has come out with an explicit statement of support for VP Leni Robredo in the latter’s quest to be the next president of the Philippines.

The famous actress and celebrity mom, while she may have been reacting to some photos and videos of VP Leni’s campaign rallies, has not explicitly stated her support in the past and have been largely silent on her choice.

Today, in an Instagram post, the actress finally came out with an explicit statement of support for VP Leni’s candidacy for the presidency.

She called her post, which showed a photo of a pink rose, “A mother’s love.”

“Yan ang tawag sa rosas na ito. My mum planted this rose in her garden & how apt it is for this time…” Anne wrote at the beginning of her post.

The famous actress then expressed her wish for the nation

“Ang pangarap ko sa ating bansa ay magkaroon ng ilaw sa ating tahanan na tinatawag nating Pilipinas na gagabay, ipaglalaban, proprotektahan at mamahalin ito… mamahalin tayo…” Anne said.

Then at the end of her post, she declared that for her, VP Leni is the right person to lead the country at this time.

“Kaya para sa akin, #KulayRosasAngBukas #LetLeniLead #LuvAnneLeni,” Anne wrote.

The reaction to Anne’s post was immediate. Tens of thousands of her more than 17 million followers liked her post within an hour.

Anne Curtis is a prominent actress, TV personality, recording artist, model, and VJ who began her career as a child star. Her husband is Erwan Heussaff, and they got married in New Zealand way back in November 2017.

Previously, the actress has expressed her awe upon seeing the crowd from the Pasig rally for Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan tandem. She retweeted a video from the said gathering and captioned it with "Wow wow wow." The celebrity mom's tweet has gone viral and has gained numerous reactions from netizens. This isn't the first time Anne has reacted to the crowd during the past rallies for VP Leni.

In the past, she also took to Twitter to express her amazement on the grand rally of VP Leni Robredo in Iloilo. Anne commented on the post of G3 Dan Diego, which showed the aerial shot of the grand rally of VP Leni in Iloilo. She wrote a three-letter word "wow," and even used a pink flower emoji for the letter "o." The grand rally in Iloilo showed thousands of people supporting the candidacy of VP Leni.
