Lolit Solis, nagpasaring sa mga artistang wala umanong ningning ngunit late sa presscon: “Wala ng star aura”

Veteran showbiz columnist Manay Lolit Solis, in one of her recent IG posts, called out those celebrities whose fame were already dying, but yet can still afford to be late in press conferences.

The columnist did not mention any names in her post, although it can be recalled that in several Instagram posts during the past weeks, she tackled the same issues.

“Tignan mo iyon isang artista na wala ng ningning late sa presscon kasi nga matagal inayos ng glam team ang mga pileges sa mukha, mga laylay sa balat dahil medyo papunta na sa pagiging senior star,” Nay Lolit wrote on her IG account.

She also made comparisons between these artists and actress Marian Rivera, whom the veteran columnist said still looked very young and fresh.

“Si Marian Rivera dahil fresh na fresh at mukhang batang bata, hindi nagtagal ang glam team sa pag aayos sa kanya, konting pulbos lang , ganda na,” she added.

Manay Lolit then said that others who were already close to becoming a senior star doesn’t have that much brightness anymore.

“Iyon palaos na malapit ng maging senior star, dahil very late at dalawang oras hinintay ng press, pumasok at umalis wala kang na feel na ningning. Wala ng star aura,” the veteran columnist said.

Nay Lolit assumed this might be the reason such celebrities would be late for two hours.

“Kaya siguro na late ng 2 oras , kasi nga gusto sana umagaw eksena, pero waley,” Nay Lolit wrote.

The veteran columnist did not mention any names in her post, although it can be recalled she discussed a similar topic in her past posts on her Instagram account.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.

The veteran columnist again penned a lengthy post about Bea Alonzo on Instagram. In her latest post, the veteran columnist began by expressing her admiration for Angel Locsin. She also mentioned Nadine Lustre who helped typhoon-hit victims in Siargao. According to Lolit, both Nadine and Angel are people which Bea should follow.

In Ogie Diaz's latest episode of Showbiz Updates last April 7, he said that Nay Lolit indicated she does not have anything personal against Bea Alonzo, but against the latter's manager. According to the comedian, he was able to personally talk to the veteran columnist and the latter revealed that she could not even remember when exactly the time that she started to go after her. She admits though that she was triggered when she learned that her name, and two other columnists, were scratched off from the list of invited press and admitted that her "tampo" was against Bea's manager.
