GMA-7 and ABS-CBN may be known as rival networks but they have recently proven that they can also work together in entertaining Filipino viewers.

The two TV networks recently inked a partnership giving way for the movies produced by Star Cinema, the film outfit of ABS-CBN, to be aired on the Kapuso network.

They recently had a virtual signing, which was attended by the bosses of the two networks.

Among the attendees were GMA President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit Jr., EVP, and CFO Felipe S. Yalong along with GMA Films President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.

Furthermore, Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes were all present too to represent ABS-CBN.

The unexpected collaboration has sparked a lot of discussion on the internet, with a lot of positive feedback.

GMA-7 and ABS-CBN are two of the biggest television networks in the Philippines. Both networks have contributed to the success of numerous personalities.

In a previous report by KAMI, GMA-7 released a statement regarding Willie Revillame's TV show, Wowowin. The said program aired until February 11. It was because the contract of the TV host on the said network ended on February 15. The Kapuso network posted its statement on Instagram, gaining various comments from netizens.

Earlier, Marian Rivera delighted her fans by sharing a lovely video of herself, flaunting her stylish OOTD. The stated video gained thousands of views on Instagram, as well as numerous comments from netizens. It's also noticeable that GMA-7 executive Annette Gozon left a positive remark in the comments section. She expressed her huge admiration for Marian's beauty and even dubbed her the "Queen of GMA."
