Mariel Padilla on handling finances with Robin Padilla: "Never kami nag-away about money"

Mariel Padilla, 37, has opened up about her and Robin Padilla's setup when it comes to handling their finances and money as a married couple.

On Monday, April 4, KAMI learned that Mariel was invited over at Ogie Diaz's YouTube channel for a much-needed interview.

During the interview, Ogie could not help but point out how Mariel is not a demanding wife, "Buti hindi ka demanding, Mariel."

According to the celebrity mom, she is not demanding because there is nothing to demand at all from her husband.

"Hindi, wala naman dapat i-demand. Si Robin will make sure na we're okay, alam mo yun? I always tell him that I'm so blessed because aminin natin, ang mag-asawa, pera ang pinag-aawayan talaga. Never kami nag-away ni Robin about money, never ever."

Upon hearing this, Ogie frankly asked Mariel if she and Robin has a certain ruling on their finances, "May ruling kayo diyan?"

In the video, Mariel simply answered and said that her money is her money and Robin's money is his money.

"Ang pera ko, pera ko. Tapos yung pera niya, pera rin niya pero nagbibigay siya sa amin, you know what I mean? To this day, kunwari may endorsement siya, never ko yun tinanong sa kanya. 'Magkano yung endorsement na yun?' or 'May balato ba kami diyan sa endorsement na yan?' Hindi ako nag-gaganun and I think he respects that. He likes that na ganun yung setup namin."

According to Mariel, she was already exposed to working hard when she was still very young because her grandparents worked hard every day.
