Manay Lolit Solis, in one of her recent posts in her Instagram account, said that it is really hard for a person to control his or her emotion the moment anger sets in.

The veteran showbiz columnist also said that uncontrolled emotion can sometimes bring about a moment of madness that could lead to greater damage.
“Iyon init ng ulo talagang dapat kontrolado ng isang tao Salve. One moment of madness na nagiging dahilan ng malaking pinsala,” Manay Lolit wrote in her post.
However, she also said that it is laudable for a person to apologize after realizing the damage caused, which resulted from intense emotions.

She then mentioned, as an example, what happened to popular actor Will Smith at the Academy Awards night.
“Imagine mo na lang ang nangyari kay Will Smith sa Oscar's. Dahil sa isang biro na ikinagalit niya, heto at dumating pa sa punto na nag resign siya sa Academy,” the showbiz columnist wrote.
“Mahirap talaga ikontrol iyon emosyon mo pag galit ka. Pero malaking bagay iyon marunong mag sorry pag nagkamali. Hanga ako sa pagiging humble ni Will Smith na to admit his mistake at mag sorry,” she further wrote.
She said that in the case of Will, people should understand that what he did resulted from his wife, who has health concerns, being subjected to a joke.
“Dapat lang unawain ng tao na masakit para sa isang asawa ang biro para sa kanilang misis kung minsan kaya nag iinit ang ulo nila. At tanggapin nila ang sorry nito sa nangyari. Mas mahirap mag Sorry, mas dapat unawain iyon biglang bugso ng emosyon,” the veteran columnist said.
In parting, Manay Lolit advised everyone to keep their calm as much as possible and avoid getting anger into one’s head.
“Kaya nga, init ng ulo, iwasan hanggat puwede. Aral sa marami ang nangyari kay Will Smith. Just count 10, after that, wala na, lipas na galit mo. Hah hah, ako ang unang dapat matuto, pero malaki din nagagawa ng edad. Pag mature ka na, medyo kalmado ka na. Naiiwasan na ang init ng ulo. Maniwala ka,” Nay Lolit said.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
In another IG post, Manay Lolit penned a long write-up about Bea Alonzo. The veteran columnist began by expressing her admiration for Angel Locsin. She also mentioned Nadine Lustre who helped typhoon-hit victims in Siargao. According to Lolit, both Nadine and Angel are people which Bea should follow.
In an earlier post, the veteran showbiz columnist said she is excited to attend more press conferences involving celebrities. However, she is concerned that she will not be invited to press conferences by other celebrities like what Bea Alonzo allegedly did to her. Lolit is hoping that it is only Bea who would act like that and that other celebrities would not be as dramatic. The entertainment columnist has been constantly bashing Bea for allegedly having Lolit’s name removed from the Beautederm press conference last week.
