In an Instagram post before the campaign rally, Rufa Mae expressed excitement about going to Zamboanga for the event.

“See you Zamboanga! Go go go!” Rufa Mae wrote in the caption of her video post.

The actress-comedienne was among the celebrities who entertained the crowd that gathered for the Zamboanga campaign sortie of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., and his running mate, Mayor Sara Duterte.

Rufa Mae is the latest celebrity to endorse the UniTeam political group led by the Marcos-Duterte tandem.

Other celebrities include Toni Gonzaga, Randy Santiago, Andrew E, Dulce, and many more.

Rufa Mae Quinto is an actress, comedienne, television host in the Philippines. She also had TV hosting and recording stints. She was born on May 28, 1978. Rufa’s showbiz career started after securing a spot in That’s Entertainment in 1996. The comedienne tied the knot with financial analyst Trevor Magallanes on November 25, 2016 and gave birth to Athena on February 18, 2017.

In one of her recent posts on Instagram, Rufa Mae gave netizens a glimpse into her new home in the Philippines. The house, which boasts a spacious living room and dining area, had tons of netizens comparing it to a hotel suite. Some also congratulated Rufa on her beautiful home in her viral post on Instagram as well.

Previously, she also made an apology following her viral “sana all” comment on KAMI’s Instagram post showing photos of late Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst, without knowing that the latter has died after jumping off from her high-rise apartment in New York. The actress and comedienne later on deleted her comment and wrote another one where she asked for everyone’s forgiveness. Rufa Mae also admitted that she failed to read the whole caption, which is about Cheslie’s passing.
