This was after doctors found polyps in his stomach during his executive check-up.

According to Willie, he found it difficult to sleep the night before he got the results because if he tested positive, he would have to undergo surgery and temporarily stop his program.

The comedian thanked his family and friends and everyone who prayed for his health. He also advised people to have a yearly executive check-up so that any illness detected can be treated as soon as possible.

“Kailangan nagpapa-executive check up tayo yearly...
“Katulad nung akin, nagkaroon ho ako ng tinatawag nating polyps. Nakita sa colon ko na may polyps ako, madalas merong ganoon, natatanggal naman every year.
“E, two years ho tayong hindi nagpa-executive check up because of COVID. So, dalawang taon akong hindi na-check, and then merong nakita sa stomach ko.
“Pero awa ho ng Diyos, kanina, tinawagan ako ng 8:30 a.m. ng aking doktor, Dr. Juliet Cervantes ng St. Luke’s Global.

After receiving offers to run for senator, Willie refused and said that he will not perform well in the Senate due to his lack of political experience.
