She then took to social media to pen a lengthy post where she recollected the time when she was just entering showbiz.
Kris wrote, "it's 2022, and today marks the 15th anniversary of my Starstruck victory.”
“It may seem little to commemorate or even celebrate, but for me, it's a time when everything changed. I can't begin to count the blessings and miracles that have occurred during those 15 years.”
The 32-year-old actress also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all her supporters.
“Thank you, my dear fans!! You have always been a strong supporter of both my personal and professional goals over the years, and I am grateful for that. Best part, you do it out of love and acceptance.”
“I know I say this all the time, but it always hits me: I wouldn't be where I am now if it weren't for you.”
Kristine Ann Tan Bernal, popularly known as Kris Bernal, is a Filipina actress who rose to prominence after winning in the fourth season of the reality-based talent search "StarStruck" of GMA Network. Kris is known for her dual role as the evil Rosette and the tragic Nimfa in "Impostora". She also had roles on "Boys Nxt Door", "Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan" and "Little Nanay". Kris tied the knot with chef Perry Choi in a beautiful church wedding on September 25, 2021.
During her guesting on Toni Gonzaga’s online show Toni Talks, Kris opened up to Toni about how she reacted after learning that GMA would no longer renew her contract.
Toni also asked Kris how does the latter’s husband, Perry Choi, supports the 32-year-old actress’ journey and helps her when she’s going through hardships. Kris then honestly shared with Toni that she found a bestfriend in Perry. Kris furthermore revealed that she never had any close friends in showbiz.
