Jho suffered a severe asthma attack that led to cardiac arrest and brain hypoxia (lack of oxygen supply in the brain).
Their daughter Andrea set up a Go Fund Me page for Jho, asking for financial assistance for her mom’s treatment.
According to Andrea, her father Andrew is unable to work due to the ongoing pandemic and because he is watching over Jho in the hospital.

“Hi my name is Andrea and im fundraising for my Mother who is right now in the hospital because of severe hypoximia due to cardiac arrest, she's been in the Hospital for almost four months now, Me and my Brother miss her so much...
“I dont know what to do anymore since my Father is currently unable to work because he was tested positive of covid two months ago because he is the one taking care of my Mother in the Hospital thats why he became too exposed from the virus outside and in the hospital...
“That’s why right now I’m trying my best to help in anyway possible that I can because I really love them especially my Mother and right now I am very helpless
“My Mother needs her medicines and we cannot provide it anymore, and it breaks my heart seeing her in pain and i cannot do anything about it that’s why right now I’m really begging for any kind of help or assistance we can have please I’m praying and hoping that my message will reach out your hearts very soon,” Andrea posted on Go Fund Me.
Andrew Schimmer is an actor in the Philippines. He was born on June 10, 1986 in Manila, Philippines. Some of his most well-known projects include Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita (2008), Gagamboy (2004) and Resiklo (2007).
He made headlines when he asked his fellow celebrities and ordinary people to help his wife, Jorhomy “Jho” Rovero. Jho suffered a severe asthma attack that led to cardiac arrest and brain hypoxia.
Last December, he once again asked for financial help for his wife. Jho, who is in a stable condition but is still unable to move much and speak, has been confined in a hospital for months already. Andrew needs more monetary assistance so that he can pay his wife’s medical and hospital bills and continue her treatment at home.
