Rocco Nacino almost fell victim to scammer who used Gabby Eigenmann’s identity.

On his Instagram page, Gabby posted screenshots showing Rocco’s conversation with the scammer on Telegram app.
According to the screenshots, the scammer was borrowing P10,000 from Rocco to purchase a gadget.

In the caption, Gabby warned netizens about the said scammer.
“Got a call from my friend @nacinorocco , asking if i was the one messaging him on telegram.. sad to say there’s this person using my name and profile pic asking for money. Pls do not entertain any messages from this person pretending to be me. Kung sino ka man tigilin mo na ang pangloloko sa mga tao, mas doble ang balik sa karma.”
In the comment section, it could be noticed that Rocco reacted, “Whew buti nalang tinawagan muna kita @gabbyeigenmann!!”
To which Gabby replied, “thanks for the heads up.”
“Be safe everyone!!! Triple check kung totoo mga kumakausap sa inyo lalo na kapag may pera na involved!” Rocco also commented.
Rocco Nacino is an actor in the Philippines, known for his role in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean drama series “Descendants of the Sun.” He is now married to volleyball player Melissa Gohing. Their military wedding was held on January 21, 2021 at Pier 13 in South Harbor, Manila.
Rocco went viral after uploading a video of his marriage proposal to Melissa. The Kapuso actor and Melissa could be seen in the video crying tears of joy when Rocco popped the question. Rocco likewise gave some details about the proposal witnessed by their respective parents and close friends.
