Maymay Entrata took to social media to react to a YouTube channel accusing her Canadian boyfriend of being a scammer.

According to the accusation from the said YouTube video, Maymay’s boyfriend is allegedly Shimon Hayut, the Israeli featured in the Netflix documentary entitled “Tinder Swindler.”
Maymay called the accusation as “fake news,” telling the YouTube channel to delete the video immediately.
The Kapamilya star warned that if the video is not deleted, she will sue the channel for spreading false information. The controversial YouTube video has now been deleted.

“Fake news! Kapag di niyo po buburahin at patuloy niyo pong pag s-spread ng false information para manira ng buhay ng ibang tao, wag niyo na po sanang hintayin na aabot tayo sa husgado. Maraming salamat po,” Maymay tweeted.
Marydale Entrata, better known as Maymay Entrata, is a Pinay actress, singer, TV host, and model. She was born on May 6, 1997 in Camiguin, Philippines, and spent most of her childhood days in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental.
On her Instagram page on Valentine's Day, the actress and recording artist posted a hugging photo of her and a handsome guy, who seemed to be a foreigner. Many netizens assumed that Maymay has just introduced her boyfriend in the post, prompting them to express happiness for Maymay.
