Before he left the country, his friends and loved ones even threw a Despedida party.
Just recently, his sister, Chantal Calicdan, posted some photos showing how he bid his goodbye to them.
She and their mom gave James a tight hug before he left. Chantal also uploaded a video of James, waving goodbye to them as he enters the airport.

The said clip has gained numerous comments from netizens who got saddened that James had to leave the Philippines. However, James has not yet stated to the public how long he'll be staying in the US.
On the other hand, they also expressed their support for him as he pursue his goals. Most of them are apparently rooting for him.

James Reid is a Filipino-Australian actor, singer-songwriter, dancer, and record producer. He broke through in showbiz through the Kapamilya show, Pinoy Big Brother. The actor rose to fame due to his movies and series with Nadine Lustre.
In a previous report by KAMI, James Reid’s photos on social media caught the attention of many netizens. In one of the photos, the actor-singer was with Nadine Lustre and their fellow Careless artists, Massiah and Jolianne. According to the 28-year-old male celebrity, the photos were taken from ‘BYE 2021’ digital music festival. Netizens, including JaDine fans, immediately reacted after seeing James and Nadine in one frame anew.
Earlier, James and Nadine Lustre became the subject of viral memes again after the actor was spotted seemingly waiting for someone with a whole “lechon” pig lying on the pavement in front of him. Netizens began pairing the photo of James with Nadine’s photo buying Mang Tomas.
