Kris Aquino took to Instagram and made an earnest appeal to everyone not to spend money on her.

She said that it would be the best birthday gift anyone can give her.
Krissy explained that she feels "nakakahiya" and "insensitive."
"Best birthday gift you can give me - PLEASE DON'T spend more money on me. NAKAKAHIYA and I feel insensitive to the needs of our fellow Filipinos."

She then added that she knows how the cost of food has gone up and also pointed out that the cost of flowers during Valentine season also goes up.
"Alam ko how much food costs have gone up plus ang MAHAL ng flowers kasi nga Valentine Season."
She then appealed to all to prioritize others, and to choose who really needs the financial support at present.
