Cherie Gil, the premier actress that many love for her versatility in a movie or a serye due to her superb acting skills, gave her fans a surprise — a new bald look.

In an Instagram account, which she called her new page, she expressed her gratefulness and happiness that she got to grace the cover of Mega magazine.

"My very first post on my new IG PAGE because …#megamagazine and me proud I didn’t think this would actually. happen!! Being in NYC at the moment when I was asked to grace yet another Mega magazine cover. This time for their 30th anniversary edition. They organized a team to shoot all the way here. Shucks ! They actually were serious! And serious WE were," she wrote.

The veteran actress then added that Mega has always been close to her heart and that it was fun working on the shoots, especially since it was for a good cause.

"This one, I personally think, is truly special. More so that it’s a fundraiser too for a good cause," said the actress.

Cherie Gil is a multi-awarded film and TV actress. She was best known for her role as Lavinia Arguelles in "Bituing Walang Ningning".

She felt frustrated and disheartening that the reverence invested in the craft is not met in the same light and given equal energy.

The actress said that eventually, she has been getting used to the changes around her. She also began her online master class to share her skills and experiences as an actress.
