Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin gave her take on the rumored separation of Diego Loyzaga and his girlfriend, Barbie Imperial.

During the digital media conference for his movie, ‘The Wife,’ Diego was asked why isn’t Barbie with her in the US.

The actor answered he doesn’t think Barbie has a blue passport, which is issued only to US citizens.

“It wasn’t planned and I don’t think Barbie has a blue passport, so, I book my flight a day before I left, so, yeah I don’t think even if she wanted to come here, she couldn’t come and she doesn't have visa yet,” the actor said.

According to Nay Cristy, many press people didn’t buy the explanation of Diego.

“Magkarelasyon kayo di nyo alam kung meron kayong passport, visa, at kung anek anek pa, di ba?” Nay Cristy opined.

The veteran columnist then revealed an issue about Diego wanting to bond with his cousins in the US, but it would seem Barbie does not want him to.

“Ang gusto ni Barbie, dito lang sila mag-pasko at mag-bagong taon,” Nay Cristy revealed.

She then gave her opinion about the relationship between Barbie and Diego, comparing it to a coffee that has suddenly become tasteless.

The veteran columnist also opined that it could be that there is no longer any element of surprise between the two as they are constantly together.

Nay Cristy also concurred with the opinion of her co-host, Romel Chika, that Barbie and Diego reached the “nagkasawaan na” stage.

“At pwede nating sabihin na si Diego ang humiwalay dahil siya ang umalis,” said Nay Cristy, adding that Diego literally left Barbie to go to the United States.
