Robin Padilla took to Facebook to express his gratitude for the support of his fellow action star, Ronnie Ricketts, for Binoe’s candidacy as senator.

Ronnie and Robin have appeared together in past action movies.

“Isang Napakalaking kaligayahan po nito Maestro Ronnie Ricketts,” Robin said in his post.

He then expressed his admiration for the fellow action star.

“Tunay po kayong kahanga hanga maestro,” he continued.

Binoe then recalled the times when he was just starting out in showbiz and Ronnie was there to support him.

He said that even up to his present political aspiration, Ronnie is still there supporting him.

“Hindi lamang po sa unang naging pelikula ko ninyo ako sinuportahan bilang inyong co actor. Pati po ngayon sa aking pagpasok sa public service ay tumindig po kayo Para sa akin,” Robin further wrote.

The senatorial aspirant then said that he, along with his family and supporters, thank Ronnie and take their hats off to him.

“Kasama po ang aking buong pamilya at mga tagasuporta. Buong puso po kaming nagpupugay at nagpapasalamat po sa inyo,” Binoe said.

In parting, he again saluted Ronnie and wished him well.

“Mabuhay po kayo. We salute to you master,” Robin wrote.

Robinhood Ferdinand Cariño Padilla, better known as Robin Padilla, is a Filipino actor, director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born on November 23, 1969 in Daet, Camarines Norte to former Camarines Norte Vice-Governor and assemblyman Roy Padilla and Eva Cariño. Known as the “Bad Boy” of Pinoymovies for portraying gangster roles, he has played main character roles in the movies Bad Boy 1 and 2, Anak ni Baby Ama, and Grease Gun Gang. His three other siblings, BB Gandanghari, formerly known as Rustom, Rommel, and the late Royette, were all actors as well.

Recently, another well-known Internet personality endorsed the candidacy of Robin Padilla. Famous vlogger, Jam Magno, declared her support for Binoe and expressed confidence in his capacity to fulfill the duties of a senator. Magno said she wished Robin’s victory in the elections and also said that she wanted to meet him in person.

Robin Padilla bravely replied to a basher who said that his platform as a senatorial candidate sounds like it came from a grade 6 class president. There is nothing wrong if the platform sounds like it came from a grade 6 class president as long as it addresses the needs of the people, Robin wrote. The actor added that there have been many senators who come up with complicated platforms but have not contributed much to the people. Furthermore, he explained that his biggest priority as an aspiring senator is to provide people with food, shelter, basic rights, and sufficient income.
