In the latest vlog of Miriam Quiambao and her husband Ardy, they narrated their experience with COVID-19.

They said that they were vaccinated on Jan. 5 at the Festival Mall, where they also stayed almost all day just to be vaccinated.

True enough, they had their chance and got the shot.

However, according to Miriam, she started to feel the symptoms after, and on that afternoon, she felt sleepy and tired.

The following day, she felt tiresome and their two children, Elijah and Baby Ziki had fever. Fortunately, on Jan. 7, their fever was gone, but her condition worsened.

“Pero dahil my running nose was progressing to a scratchy throat, I asked my husband to test me with an antigen swab. It was negative,” said Miriam

“The following day, I was developing more symptoms of body malaise and fever. Sabi ko, ‘Ang tagal na nito. Side effects ba ito ng vaccine?’ she added.

She initially tested negative on the antigen test, but later it turned out positive, prompting them to isolate.

With all that was happening, she came to think, "Kung kailan ako na-vaccinate saka ako na-Covid. Ano ba ’yan?"

Her husband then answered that based on literature, it would take two weeks before the vaccine will take effect.

Miriam Redito Quiambao-Roberto was Philippines’ representative to the 1999 Miss Universe pageant where she placed 1st Runner-Up. She was born on May 20, 1975 in Quezon City. She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in physical therapy.

Two months ago, Miriam and Ardy announced another baby is on the way.

Miriam Quiambao took to Instagram and shared her scary experience when her son had high fever. It lasted for three nights and three days and her son didn't even want to take medicine even when mixed with his favorite juice. She then said that on the fourth day, the fever broke and it was only then that she knew that he had "tigdas hangin." Rashes started to appear the moment his fever went down and despite her being pregnant, she had to take care of her baby.
