Carla Abellana, 35, is among the list of celebrities who have expressed their worries over the huge surge of COVID-19 cases in the country due to the new variant.
Previously, Philippines has made headlines for facing a big COVID-19 surge fueled by the Omicron variant, a variant of the novel coronavirus.
Following this news, KAMI learned that the Kapuso star took to her Instagram, @carlaangeline, to appeal to the public not to underestimate any flu-like symptoms.

In her Instagram account, the 35-year-old actress posted a photo from CNN Philippines about what Dr. Anna Ong Lim, an infectious disease expert, said.

"Kung may nararamdaman, huwag nang magdalawang isip: Mag-isolate kaagad," she said.
"Walang panahon para pag-isipan pa kung ang nararamdaman natin ay COVID ba o hindi," Dr. Lim finished.
Meanwhile, Carla posted her own sentiments in the post as well and told netizens not to hide any symptoms should they feel any.
"Please po. Wag niyo po itago kung may nararamdaman kayo. Pati bata alam po ang symptoms ng COVID. Wag i-"lang" ang anumang sintomas."
