Paulo Avelino found himself on a ‘hot seat’ after he was asked about the real score between him and Janine Gutierrez.

The two portray the role of a husband and wife in the romantic comedy series “Marry Me Marry You.”
In a media conference where the two appeared, reporters asked some personal questions about the two.
In one instance, showbiz reporter Jun Lalin asked Janine that since both she and Paulo were single, did they feel envy towards co-stars Cherry Pie Picache and Edu Manzano.

“Si Paulo at si Janine, pareho naman silang single, di ba kayo naiingit kay Pie at kay Doods? Wala ba kayong balak na totohanin na ang napapanood na kinakikiligan naman talaga sa inyo? Kayo bang dalawa since pareho kayong single, baka may something rin kayo?” Lalin asked.
Janine could only give a meaningful smile and greeted the reporter a Happy New Year and then said nothing could beat the sweetness between Cherry Pie and Edu.
“Tito Jun, Happy New Year. Lahat kami naiingit kay Ms. Pie. Walang tatalo sa kasweetan nila,” the actress answered.
The reporter further asked Janine on her opinion as many were expecting Paulo and her to make their roles real in the future.
Since Janine wasn’t able to answer, Lalin turned to Paulo with the questions: “Hanggang ganun lang ba yun? Wala bang ligawan na nangyayari?”
“Ako po, si Janine lang hinihintay lagi. So, tingnan natin kung hindi kami masyadong busy for this year. May sari-sarili kaming gagawin for this year,” Paulo answered.
Lalin then turned to Janine and opined: “Dinededma mo yata mga paramdam sa ‘yo ni Paulo.”
Before Janine could answer, Paulo chimed in: “Ganun nga po!”
The two do appear to be warm towards each other but as to whether they have a romantic link, only they could say with certainty.
Janine Marie Elizabeth de Leon Gutierrez, more popularly known as Janine Gutierrez, is a Filipina actress, television host and commercial model. She was born on born October 2, 1989 to actress Lotlot de Leon and actor-singer Ramon Christopher Gutierrez. Her paternal grandparents are Eddie Gutierrez and Pilita Corrales and her maternal grandparents are Eva Rodriguez and Donald Olson. Her adoptive maternal grandparents are Superstar Nora Aunor and multi-awarded actor Christopher de Leon. She attended St. Paul’s College in high school and graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in European Studies.
Previously, Janine was asked by Vice Ganda a personal question during the 'Madlang Pi-POLL' segment of "It's Showtime!" The 'Unkabogable Star' then suddenly asked Janine if she has already moved on after hearing the latter's answer about ex-partners getting into a new relationship.
More recently, Janine was also interviewed on the Kapamilya TV show, 'Magandang Buhay.' She was then asked about Paulo Avelino's statement that they dated before. The Kapamilya actress did not deny her dating history with her leading man in the TV series, 'Marry Me, Marry You.' A lot of people reacted to her confirmation and most of the netizens are apparently happy about it.
