Lolit Solis, labis na nalungkot sa hiwalayan nina Kris Aquino, Mel Sarmiento

Lolit Solis could not help but express her sadness over the news that Kris Aquino and her fiancé, Mel Senen Sarmiento, have already broken up.
On Tuesday, January 4, KAMI learned that the veteran columnist took to Instagram to pen her thoughts regarding Kris' controversial post.
Previously, Kris released a series of screenshots showing Mel's last text to her, confirming their breakup in her post as well.

In the screenshots, which Kris provided, Mel could be seen saying that he will always "cherish in my heart the happy moments we had together."

Following this news, Lolit mentioned in her post how she actually thought that Mel would be Kris' "forever" already.
"Na-sad naman ako sa balita at confirmation ni Kris Aquino na wala na sila ni Mel Sarmiento, Salve. Akala ko pa naman si Mel na ang forever ni Kris, at ito na ang hinahanap niyang ‘the one’. Matagal tagal din iyon naging relasyon nila kaya inakala na ng marami na ito na nga ang final journey ng love life ni Kris, kasal na lang ang kulang."
According to Manay Lolit, in times like this, Kris needs an "emotional crutch" to hold on, expressing her concern over Kris' health condition.
"Sad ako dahil nakita ko na talagang failing ang health condition ni Kris at parang ngayon niya needed ang emotional crutch to hold on sana. Kahit feeling ko mas maganda ngayon si Kris dahil iba ang character ng kanyang mukha ngayon, mas gusto ko pa rin na madagdagan sana ang kanyang timbang kahit konti."
By the end of her post, Lolit wished that someday Kris' "knight in shining armor" would come because she is deserving to be loved.
"Sana nga mild lang effect sa kanya ng break up nila ni Mel para hindi na lalo pang mabawasan ang kanyang timbang. Stay strong Kris, we love you. Sana meron agad dumating na knight in shining armor, na mukhang Gabby/Robin/James sa buhay mo, hah hah joke joke. Basta kailangan lang tunay na magmamahal sa iyo, dahil deserving kang mahalin, a very precious gem."
