Maxene Magalona took to Instagram and revealed that she was very thankful for booking a solo trip in Boracay.

She said that when one is struggling with depression and anxiety, silence and solitude are among the best remedies for the soul.
"Silence and solitude are some of the best remedies for the soul especially when we are struggling with anxiety and depression. I used to run away from uncomfortable feelings and drown myself in alcohol hoping that they would dissipate on their own."
She also added that she needed to learn that when negative emotions are present, they just don't vanish magically.

At the end of her lengthy post, she said that trusting God will help one heal the soul, and she noted that booking a solo vacation was one of her best decisions.
"Now that my trip has come to an end, I can say with God-fidence that booking this solo vacation was one of the best decisions I had ever made in my life. I used to come here to get wasted. Now, I came back to accept my past, practice being present and trust that God is in control of my future."
Maxene Magalona is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. Her father is the late rap legend, Francis Magalona. The actress revealed in May 2020 that she has been seeing a psychiatrist due to her mental illness.

Moreover, netizens also noticed that Maxene is no longer following Rob Mananquil as well. In her viral 'Toni Talks' interview, Maxene once recalled an incident where she had to go to the station to pick her bag up after getting drunk. On Instagram, the 35-year-old actress was lauded for her 'come full circle' moment when she visited the station. Aside from this, Maxene thanked the people at the station for being kind and understanding during the time of the incident.
