Arnel and his group proved that they can still make anyone dance and sing to some of their hit songs like “Any Way You Want It” and “Don’t Stop Believin.

In the video that Journey posted on its Instagram page, one can see everyone enjoying as Arnel belted out the iconic songs.

The Pinoy rock sensation became Journey’s frontman after the guitarist of the popular US rock band, Neal Schon, called him and asked Arnel to be the group’s vocalist.

Arnel Pineda is a famous singer, not only in the Philippines, but also in other countries like the United States and Canada. In 2007, he was recruited to be the lead singer of the American rock band, Journey. In a previous interview, one of the rock band’s founder, Neal Schon, said that Arnel is the closest thing to the voice of their former vocalist, Steve Perry.

In 2020, Arnel became involved in a controversy when his brother, Rusmon Pineda, was arrested for allegedly selling illegal substances. Authorities said they confiscated four packs of illegal substances valued at around P136,000 pesos.

Following his brother’s arrest, Arnel, through a post on social media, addressed those bashing him and his family because of the incident. He also thanked those who continue to support him and expressed their love during that difficult moment.
