In his post, the actor was seen clad in a sweater with what looked like a furry blanket draped around his shoulders.

Traditionally, a ‘birthday salubong’ is held at the strike of 12 midnight or in the wee hours of the morning.
Based on the photo of Alden in what he referred to as his first birthday salubong, it looked like it happened either at midnight or early in the morning.
“Grateful for 30 fruitful years. Thank you for all the greetings. GOD has always been so good,” Alden wrote in the caption.
He then added a postscript, revealing that it was his first birthday salubong.
“First birthday salubong ko pala to. Hahaha,” the actor further wrote.
He did not indicate, however, if it was his first ever birthday salubong or his first one in the United States.

She previously penned an appreciation post for the Kapuso star on her Instagram account, recounting how Alden has never been delayed before due to his “time management.” She also commended the actor for not letting the fame get into his head and for staying humble despite his status.
The veteran showbiz columnist had also defended Alden in rumors that he had become moody and difficult to talk to regarding changes in schedules and script. According to Lolit, it is difficult to believe these rumors because Alden is well-known for his kindness and sweetness. The entertainment columnist speculated that the person who spread those rumors must have encountered Alden during one of his off days. People should not expect celebrities to be perfect all the time, Lolit added.
