Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis recently revealed in an Instagram post that the food packs and assistance that Queen of All Media Kris Aquino extended to typhoon Odette victims came from her own pocket.

She also said that everyone should emulate what Kris did for the typhoon victims, and that is to share whatever one has.
“Share natin ang kahit konti para sa mga naapektuhan ng bagyo.Tulad ng ginawa ni Kris Aquino na part ng mga sana panregalo niya idinagdag niya sa binigay niyang tulong sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo,” Nay Lolit said.

The veteran columnist revealed that the help Kris extends come out of her own pocket.
“Si Kris Aquino pag tumulong galing sa sarili niyang bulsa,” the veteran columnist wrote in her post.
She also said that Kris doesn’t ask help from sponsors when extending assistance to calamity victims.
“Hindi iya humihingi sa sponsors kaya alam mo na taos sa puso ang pagtulong niya,” she further said in her IG post.
Nay Lolit then underscored the importance of even loose change in these trying times.
“Kahit barya magiging mahalaga ngayon panahon na ito,” she said.
In parting, Nay Lolit appealed for everyone to give even just a little so as to make this country a place of happiness for everyone.
“Ibigay din natin kahit konti sa mga may problema ngayon. Make us a place of happiness para sa lahat. Mas marami masaya, mas magaan ang buhay ng lahat,” Nay Lolit said.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
Previously, she penned a commentary on the romance between Edu Manzano and Cherry Pie Picache. The entertainment columnist feels joyful and excited over the relationship that shocked the nation. Edu and Cherry Pie’s romance proved that it is never too late to fall in love, Lolit said. She also advised her readers not to lose hope if they have not yet found their soulmate because they can still find love in their later years.
She also took to Instagram and expressed her own thoughts on the relationship of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. She reposted a photo that Marian herself posted on Instagram, where she thanked her husband for everything he's done for her in Israel. According to Lolit, the contentment and happiness of the couple are clearly evident on their faces. The veteran columnist then added that it is because both are good people, which is also why they receive many blessings.
