He shared with his followers in an Instagram post the he is now engaged to his non-showbiz girlfriend, Katrina Mercado.
In his post, the actor posted a photo of him with his fiancée’s hand bearing a beautiful diamond ring.
In the caption, the StarStruck 2015 Ultimate Male Survivor wrote, “And just like that, the next chapter of my life starts.”

Migo Adecer was proclaimed as the '2015 Ultimate Male Survivor' in the 6th edition of the Kapuso reality talent competition "StarStruck." He was part of several GMA teleseryes such as 'Sahaya' and 'Encantadia'. In April, Migo revealed on Instagram his decision to go back to Australia. He also thanked GMA-7 network for the opportunity it gave him.
There were other celebrity couples who also got engaged this year. In October, Hidilyn Diaz happily announced that she is now engaged to her boyfriend, strength coach Julius Naranjo. She shared the good news with the public in a social media post showing a photo of her donning her Olympic gold medal and her stunning engagement ring.
Lian Paz also took to social media to share some good news about her love life. She revealed that she and her partner, John Cabahug, are now engaged. On her Instagram page, the former EB babe reposted a picture from John’s Instagram account flaunting her gorgeous engagement ring.
