Kris Bernal has taken to social media to pen about her recent guesting on Toni Gonzaga’s online show, ‘Toni Talks’.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Kris revealed that it was actually Alex Gonzaga who persuaded Toni to interview her.
“I had no idea how I was invited to be a guest on #ToniTalks until Ms. @celestinegonzaga disclosed that it was @cathygonzaga who persuaded her to do so.”
The 32-year-old actress likewise expressed how surreal it was for her to be invited to the program.

“I didn’t reply right away when I got a message from Toni Talks saying that they want to have me as a guest. I thought it wasn’t real because why would they have me? At first, I was thinking why me? There’s nothing really interesting about my life and Ms. Toni hasn’t met me personally and I feel like she doesn’t even know there's Kris Bernal.”
“And, who am I to say no? Aside from I know that this will be a good outlet for me to share my story with other people, I know I have a lot to learn from Ms. Toni.”
Kris then went on to express how she admired Toni even more because of their insightful conversation.
“And yes, it’s true! I enjoyed talking to her because she’s full of substance and she’s an inspiration to many. She bridges stories and uses them to touch the lives of other people through her Toni Talks.”

Kris tied the knot with chef Perry Choi in a beautiful church wedding on September 25, 2021.
During her guesting on Toni Gonzaga’s online show ‘Toni Talks’, Kris opened up to the Kapamilya actress and TV host how she reacted after learning that GMA would no longer renew her contract.
Toni also asked Kris how does the latter’s husband, Perry Choi, support the 32-year-old actress’ journey and help her when she’s going through hardships. Kris then honestly shared with Toni that she found a bestfriend in Perry. Kris furthermore revealed that she never had any close friends in showbiz.
