She was just named the grand champion of the Kapuso singing competition, The Clash 2021.
The brilliant singer won the competition after performing the song Bakit Mahal Pa Rin Kita, which she won against Vilmark Viray.
Moreover, Mariane's victory trended widely online, especially on Twitter. Lots of netizens congratulated her and expressed their happiness for her.

Tawag ng Tanghalan Season is an amateur singing competition currently aired as a segment of the noontime show It's Showtime.
In a previous report by KAMI, Rachel Gabreza was also a finalist in the Tawag ng Tanghalan competition. Although she did not win the PH competition, she won the Albion Grand Prix 2018 in London. The youthful singer triumphed over 30 other contestants from various countries.
Previously, Vice Ganda reunited with Cyrill Tumamak, the boy who made the comedian cry during his audition for Pinoy Boyband Superstar, at the Tawag ng Tanghalan competition. Vice Ganda initially failed to recognize the guy because it had been 5 years since he had seen him.
Kim Chiu, his co-host, reacted with delight that Cyrill previously made Vice Ganda cry. Vice Ganda recalled the first time he met Cyrill, when the youngster sung the song Lay Me Down by Sam Smith and dedicated it to his grandmother, which brought back memories of Vice's late grandmother.
