Vice Ganda had a wonderful reunion on "Tawag ng Tanghalan" with Cyrill Tumamak, the boy who made the comedian cry back in 2016.

Vice met the 13-year-old Cyrill five years ago when the boy auditioned for "Pinoy Boyband Superstar". Cyrill had sung the song "Lay Me Down" by English singer Sam Smith.

When Vice asked Cyrill, to whom was he dedicating his song, the young boy answered that he was thinking of his grandmother. The admission made Vice break down into tears as it made him remember his grandmother who had passed away.

Fast forward to 2021, Cyrill, who is now 18 years old, performed on "Tawag ng Tanghalan". Vice Ganda revealed that he did not recognize Cyrill at first since he has grown up quite a bit. Vice Ganda's co-host Kim Chiu shared that she remembers the comedian and Cyrill's tearful encounter before.

When Vice asked Cyrill why he wants to enter the show business, the teenager responded that he longs to perform and be applauded by people. Vice Ganda gave him a piece of advice and told him that there is nothing wrong with wanting fame. He further said that your purpose in life changes as you attain your goals.
