The actor then appealed for those who were badly affected by the storm, adding that many of them lost their homes and are without food or water.

“Please help me pray for our brothers and sisters who didn’t fare so well. Marami sa kanila nawalan ng bahay at walang pagkain at tubig,” the actor further wrote.

He then expressed his admiration for the “Cebuano spirit,” particularly those at the hotel who made sure the doors won’t give in.

“I am in awe with the Cebuano spirit na nagkaisa lahat kagabi sa Hotel to make sure the doors don’t give in para magflood sa loob at magcause ng panic,” he said.

Tom Rodriguez, whose real name is Bartolome Alberto Mott, is a Filipino actor, host, and singer. My Husband's Lover, I Can See You, I Heart Davao, and The World Between Us are just a few of the TV series in which he has starred.

Tom Rodriguez recently revealed that he is willing to be “under-de-saya” to his wife, Carla Abellana. The actor made this revelation during an interview with ‘Mars Pa More,’ where he also shared how their relationship is now that they’re married. He also said that he’s willing to do anything to make his wife happy, even if it would mean he should always submit to her. Tom and Carla tied the knot on October 23 of this year.

Carla Abellana shared the lovely video of the unboxing of the wedding gifts that she and Tom received. The actress unboxed the gifts one by one with her three nieces, Ava, Stella and Lucy. Her sister helped her with the inventory so that she could personally thank each one of them. Of course, along with the nieces were the cute dogs who were also very happy with all the clutter and the festive atmosphere as Carla and Tom go about unboxing.
