In the said video posted on the Parokya Ni Edgar frontman’s Instagram page, Miggy was translating each line of ‘Ako ay May Lobo’.
According to Chito, he and Neri wanted to hone Miggy’s Tagalog fluency and comprehension as early as possible.
“Sinasanay talaga namin si Miggy mag-tagalog, mula sa comprehension, hanggang sa pananalita.”

“Nakakatuwa kasi kahit English ang primary language nya, comfortable at marunong sya mag-tagalog. Well...hindi naman ‘super’ galing, pero gumamit sya ng tagalog phrases during normal conversation.”
Chito likewise aired his belief that being comfortable speaking in both English and Tagalog is an advantage for kids.
“I remember my classmates in Ateneo struggling sa Filipino and Araling Panlipunan, and I'm sure many parents can relate, with their kids not being comfortable speaking in tagalog...and I totally understand, pero syempre, i believe na kelangan talaga natin sila sanayin.”
