Marian Rivera, idinepensa ni Lolit Solis laban sa ‘negatrons’: “Hindi english speaking si Marian… issue iyon?”

Marian Rivera has found another ally in Lolit Solis after the latter took to Instagram to defend the actress against her bashers, whom the veteran shobiz columnist called ‘negatrons.’

The issue started when Marian was chosen by the Ms. U organization to be one of the judges in the upcoming global beauty pageant.
Some netizens criticized the choice, saying that Marian has alleged difficulties when it comes to speaking the English language.

For Lolit Solis, however, this is a non-issue.
“Grabe na talaga ang nega vibes sa atin Salve. Iyon napili bilang isa sa judge ng Miss Universe si Marian Rivera na dapat talaga natin ipagmalaki dahil ngayon lang nangyari, umandar na naman mga negatrons,” Nay Lolit wrote in her post.
She wonders why of all the issues, why would bashers choose the topic on Marian not being English-speaking.
“…Ang issue bakit napili eh hindi naman english speaking si Marian. Issue iyon? So, iyon mga candidates na hindi marunong magsalita at hindi maintindihan English , bawal?” the showbiz columnist asked.
She then pointed out that Marian had gone to school, can talk and understand the English language, and so Nay Lolit wonders where the bashers are coming from.
“Nag-aral si Marian, nagsasalita ng English, nakakaintindi, ano problema?” Nay Lolit wrote in her post.
The veteran showbiz columnist then surmised that perhaps the reason why bashers attack her is because Marian is beautiful, has a handsome husband, and two cute children.
“Ang hirap talaga ng maganda, may pogi asawa, may 2 cute na anak, kahit ano kilos inggit ang umiiral sa marami at iyon iba talagang nasa destroyer mode na lahat na lang kahit walang kuwentang bagay nakikita,” Nay Lolit said.
She then expressed gratefulness that Marian knows how to handle these things and because she’s intelligent, she was able to carry on amid these ugly criticisms.
