In a lengthy Instagram post, the English singer-songwriter announced that she recently got pregnant but suffered a miscarriage later on.

Beginning her post with a broken heart emoji, she revealed she found out about the loss of her baby a day before she was set to do the first of her four shows at The Hotel Café in Los Angeles, California.

“Yesterday morning I was laughing with a friend saying “seriously though how am I going to get through my gig in LA tomorrow night without telling the whole audience I am pregnant”.
“By yesterday afternoon I was dreading the thought of getting through the gig without breaking down…”
“After going for my 3rd scan and being told there was no longer a heartbeat.”

Aside from the saddening statement, Jessie likewise posted a photo of her and her home pregnancy test showing a positive result.

It was accompanied by another photo with a quote that read, “Sometimes love won’t be enough to make it work, and that’s OK. It doesn’t mean that you’ve failed.”

Jessie J is an English singer and songwriter who held several concerts in the Philippines already. She competed with Pinay singer KZ Tandingan in the famous The Singer 2018 show in China where Jessie J emerged as the winner.
