Meryll Soriano, 38, has opened up about her bipolar disorder and mental health in the latest episode of her online show, Dear Mama Meme.
On Sunday, November 21, KAMI learned that the actress received an online letter from Shane Oreal asking her about mental health and skincare.
In the letter that she received, Shane asked the celebrity mom when does one seeks medical attention with regards to their mental health.

Upon reading the message, Meryll candidly revealed that she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder fourteen years ago.

On Mayo Clinic's website, bipolar disorder, or manic depression, is a mental health condition that causes extreme mood swings and emotional highs and lows.
"If you experience yung mga severe mood changes, tapos kulang ka sa energy or sobra sa energy, tapos yung sleeping habits mo may problema ka about it. Nahihirapan kang mag-cope sa mga daily activities, daily tasks na kailangan gawin."
At one point, Meryll recalled what happened to her back when she was in London during one of her depressive episodes.
"Alam niyo nangyari yan sakin sa London nung na-depress ako. Two days akong di makabangon, sa totoo lang nagka-UTI ako kasi kahit pag-ihi, ayoko. Ayoko talagang umalis ng kama, for that depressive episode, di ako tumaba kasi di talaga akong makabangon para kumain. Umiinom lang ako ng tubig."

Meanwhile, Meryll Soriano has recently posted yet another vlog update up on her YouTube channel. In her latest vlog post, the celebrity mom shared their Father's Day surprise for Willie Revillame. During the celebration, Meryll's son, Elijah Palanca, even gave Willie a heartfelt handwritten letter.
