This was the actress’ answer to the hypothetical question posed by Von Bolinario of News5 who asked the question, referring to the character portrayed by Janine in the series.
Bolinario had asked whom will she choose if she finds herself in a situation where two friends both expressed their love for her.
“Ikaw Janine, na-experience mo na ba ito? Na two friends fell in love with you, and if you were in that situation, who will you choose between two boys?”

The actress gave Bolinario a simple and straightforward answer.
“Kung sino siguro yung mahal ko. Ganun lang kasimple,” Janine said.
Bolinario then asked if it would cross the mind of the actress that someone would get hurt.
Janine said the two are friends and so it is their problem.
“Sila naman yung friends eh, so problema na nila yun! Ako lang naman yung napa-gitna,” the actress answered.
When asked about her thoughts on third-party relationships, where the persons involved are close friends, Janine said that it wouldn’t be her concern anymore because the two guys are friends.
“Ganun pa rin feelings ko na sila naman yung magkaibigan so pagdating sa relationship nila, as Janine ha, parang di ko na concern yun kasi sila naman yung magkaibigan,” the actress said.
