Ogie Diaz weighed in on the issue involving Claudine Barretto, the letters that were allegedly given to her, as well as the events that transpired on March 29, 2002, the day that Rico Yan died.

"Yung iba naman sinasabi nila, siguro nagi-guilty si Claudine kaya lagi niyang inaalala si Rico Yan..." said Ogie.
"Yung iba kasi, iniisip nila lalo na yung mga nakakaalam ng kwento na nung araw, kung matatandaan natin, kung kakalkalin nating ang mga news nung araw..." the comedian further narrated.
"Dahil parang si Rico Yan ay sumama ang loob, nagselos dahil nagkikita si Raymart at si Claudine..." he added.

"Bago tumulak si Rico Yan patungong Dos Palmas sa Palawan ay masamang-masama ang loob ni Rico Yan."
"Hindi nga ito umiinom ng alak eh. Napainom. Dun sa Palawan. Kasi wala silang formal split up yata."
An old video of Rico was then played where he was asked about his issue with Claudine, where he said, "Let's not delve into that."
Ogie then said that these were just the reports that he read before.
He then revealed that when the news came out that Rico died, the chopper of ABS-CBN was the one that picked up the remains of the actor.
"Namatay siya sa pagkakahimbing ng tulog. Parang bangungot yata," said Ogie.
Thereafter, one of the alleged reasons that floated in news sites was the alleged heartache of Rico Yan over Claudine, which allegedly led him to get drunk.
"Yung parang di niya natanggap na si Claudine ay nandun kay Raymart, parang ganun."

She mentioned the questions that were raised by many netizens, including why it seemed that the penmanship was not allegedly belonging to Rico. As she and Romel Chika were discussing it, nay Cristy remembered the day that Rico died and narrated what she allegedly knew with regards to the events that transpired on the fateful day Rico died. According to Nay Cristy, on the day that Rico died, Claudine Barretto was allegedly in Subic, at the home of her mother, with Raymart Santiago.
Claudine Barretto took to IG Live to express her frustration against a hospital for allegedly having made her wait for hours without attending to her needs. She started the video by saying that her chest is almost about to explode, and so she aired her frustration. The actress was in the Emergency, and yet she waited for a very long time. She revealed that she was suffering from so much pain, with sharp shooting pain on her stomach and that her whole body has been aching.
