Ashley Ortega, who plays "Marriam" in the drama series Legal Wives, has undoubtedly delivered an outstanding performance throughout the show's run.

She plays as cousin of Bianca Umali's character as "Farrah," in the aforementioned series. What's more remarkable about Marriam is she would do anything to get Dennis Trillo's character to marry her.
Many people despised Marriam as a result of her odious behavior, which simply goes to show that Ashley is doing an amazing job in the role.
When asked how she felt about people's remarks regarding her role, including the hateful ones, Ashley said she appreciates them.

"I really appreciate those responses! Even when majority of them are fueled by hate! Because it only goes to show that I was successful in bringing to life a character that was masterfully crafted by our writers," she said.
In fact, she is very open to hearing what people think about her acting performance.
"If the audiences are reacting to my performance then I am more than welcome to accept their recognition of my antagonist acting," she added.
Furthermore, the young actress did not deny that she has a little similarity with Marriam. However, she clarified that it's not Marriam's wicked side, but rather her eagerness to get what she wanted.
Ashley said she always makes sure to do everything she can to achieve her goals in real life.
"To a certain degree, yes. I am not pertaining to her malicious actions but more on her drive to pursue the things she is passionate about. Mariam is an assertive person who always went after what she desired, and I truly resonated with this quality. I always thought of myself as a go-getter who never let anything hold me down from my goals and ideals," she stated.
Meanwhile, as the last episode of Legal Wives will air tonight, she had revealed what fans can expect.
"Marami pang aabangan kasi marami pang revelations. Yun lang muna pwede kong sabihin haha."
Ashley Ortega is a Kapuso actress who has been on TV shows such as Legal Wives, Sahaya, Super Ma'am, and Instadad. Her mother is Filipina-German and her father is Spanish-Filipino.
