In the said video, Vice Ganda fought back against his bashers by airing some of the blessings he received in his life.
Nanay Cristy then said she pities Vice Ganda for she thinks the comedian is not genuinely happy.
“Ako ah, sa kabuuan, naaawa ako kay Vice,” said the veteran entertainment columnist.
“Ako, una, nanghihinayang ako sa popularidad na hindi naman ipinanganak nang magdamag lang. Nakita ko po ang pagsisimula, nasaksihan po namin ang pagsisimula ni Vice Ganda. Halos dumapa na po siya sa lupa. Kaya lang, nabigyan ng pagkakataon na makilala.”
“Nanghihinayang ako, pero naaawa ako sa kanya. Ang isang tao na walang peace of mind, ang isang tao na hindi maligaya sa kanyang buhay, sabihin mo na Vice na sinungaling ako, pero 'yun ka. Hindi ka maligaya,” she added.
Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez.
Earlier, Cristy Fermin tackled Direk Bobet Vidanes' alleged mistreatment towards “It’s Showtime” hosts when he was still the director of the show. During her radio program, Nanay Cristy said her trusted source texted her about the director’s alleged offensive remarks about Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro. Her source also said that even the noontime show’s dancers likewise received unkind words from Direk Bobet.
Vice Ganda’s vlog with Ion Perez and Ryan Bang uploaded on February 7 also resurfaced online. This, after Direk Bobet emotionally explained in an episode of “Lunch Out Loud” that he left “It’s Showtime” because it was not healthy for him anymore. In Vice’s old vlog, the comedian frankly opened up that he was offended by Direk Bobet leaving the Kapamilya show.
