‘Hipon Girl,’ bawal makipag-kissing scene: “Hindi ko ma-imagine na may ka-kissing scene ako”

Herlene Budol, more popularly known as Hipon Girl, reveals she’s not ready to have a kissing scene in a film or TV soap.

The actress-comedienne recently starred in her own life story in the weekly drama anthology ‘Magpakailanman.’
A report by Bandera.Inquirer quoted Herlene admitting having a hard time appearing as herself in her own life story.
“Mas mahirap palang gampanan yung sarili mo lalo na pag nagpa-flashback sa ‘yo yung mga throwback past experiences na ayaw mo nang magbalik,” Herlene said.

GMA News also quoted the actress saying that appearing in her own life story made her remember some painful experiences.
“Major role, kasi buhay ko, ang hirap pala nu’n yung gampanan mo yung sarili mo, bilang ikaw talaga. Inisip ko nga, e, ito na naman yung sakit ng ulo ko, naka-move on na ako dito, naalala ko na naman,” she revealed.
She also admitted she’s not ready to have a kissing scene in a TV series or film.
“Ayoko, nahihiya ako! Hindi pa ako masyadong marunong mag-toothbrush. Hindi ko ma-imagine na may ka-kissing scene ako!” Hipon Girl said.
However, in a report by Remate Online, the actress said that if in case the role demands for it, she named some preferred actors that she would do the scene with.
“Ayoko. Ayoko! Ha-hahaha! Joke lang! Pero sina Dennis Trillo, Ruru Madrid at Alden Richards…kinikilig ako sa kanila!” Herlene humorously said.
Herlene Budol is a comedian, actress, and a host in "Wowowin". Hipon gained popularity when she joined Willie of Fortune. Willie Revillame decided then to make her a regular host of the show.
Herlene has been the subject of controversy after rumors about her spread like wildfire. Netizens speculated that Hipon Girl got pregnant and that the culprit was Willie Revillame. Kuya Will previously reacted to the rumors and directly said that it was fake news. Now, Hipon took to TikTok to show off her figure and to take a hit at the rumors and implied that she is not pregnant.
She also received a lot of bashing after her viral interview with Toni Gonzaga. Herlene revealed in the interview that the pandemic has caused a huge strain on her finances describing her situation as "back to zero." Because of the interview, she received a lot of bashing, and was tagged as "feeling mayaman." She then responded that she answered the questions because she was asked.
