Liezl Sicangco, the mother of Kylie Padilla, shared a video on Instagram about many women being forced to stay in toxic relationships.

The video shows a Muslim woman saying that women are encouraged to stay with their partners even if they experience abuse or get cheated on.
Many women are also urged to be passive and not fight back against their toxic partners as a form of sacrifice and for the sake of their children, the woman in the video said.
Liezl’s post came after her daughter Kylie broke up with her husband, Aljur Abrenica, for allegedly cheating on her.

“Swallow the poison, keep a smile on your face. Be passive, don’t do anything. This is the main toxic message for women.
“They’re supposed to put up with everything, as part of our religion, and a lot of times it’s actually culture but they package it in religion.
“They use beautiful words. Words like ‘sacrifice.’ ‘Sacrifice for the kids,’” the woman in the video said.
Kylie Padilla is an actress in the Philippines who work for the Kapuso network. Her parents are famous actor Robin Padilla and his former wife, Liezl Sicangco. She tied the knot with Aljur Abrenica at Villa Milagros in Rizal on December 11, 2018.
Kylie and Aljur, who had to go through a lot of difficulties at the start of their relationship, now have two beautiful children, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo. Both Kylie and Aljur seem to be loving and affectionate parents toward their sons.
Unfortunately, it was recently confirmed that Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica have separated as a couple. However, they are working together in co-parenting their two kids.
