Lolit Solis on Cristine Reyes' viral interview: "Parang wala sa timing ang nangyayari"

Lolit Solis could not help but express her confusion over Cristine Reyes’ controversial interview where she opened up about her childhood.

Previously, on Wednesday, October 20, KAMI learned that Cristine was interviewed by Liza Florida on her ‘Eight Billion Podcast’.

During the interview, Cristine recalled her painful childhood and revealed how she was “very neglected when I was a child.”

Following this news, the 74-year-old-writer took to Instagram to express her shock and confusion over Cristine’s interview.

“Ewan ko rin kung ano naman nangyari kay Cristine Reyes at bigla naging issue din ang mother/daughter relationship nila ng kanyang ina. Bigla na lang inilabas ni Cristine ang ilang pribadong bagay pampamilya na ikinagulat ng publiko. Iyon ilang beses na ginusto raw na sana ay hindi siya isilang, at ilan pang bagay. Ewan kung ano ang naganap para gawin ito ni Cristine Reyes ngayon lalo pa nga at isa na rin siyang ina.”

According to Lolit, Cristine’s sudden revelations about her childhood felt off when it came to the timing of her interview.

“Whatever it is, parang wala sa timing ang nangyayari. Matagal ng panahon ito at isa ka na rin nanay, bakit kailangan ngayon pa ilabas iyan issue na iyan kung totoo man? Hindi ba naisip ni Cristine Reyes ang magiging repercussions nito kung sakali? Ano na lang ang pwede masabi tungkol sa kanyang ina? Maganda naman ang naging buhay nila ni Ara Mina na kapatid niya, sana ito na lang ang tinignan ni Cristine Reyes.”
