Chad Gammad denied claims that he and Apple David have already ended their relationship.

The basketball player addressed the breakup talk through a short post on Facebook.

Instead of giving a lengthy explanation, Chad simply dismissed the claim and appeared amused by the speculation.

“pake news po kung nagtataka kayo,” he wrote.

His brief reaction made it clear that he was denying the breakup rumor.

Chad did not elaborate further in the caption or explain what may have caused people to wonder about the status of their relationship.

The latest post comes months after his relationship with Apple became public.

In May, Apple confirmed that she and Chad were dating. She also acknowledged that their relationship had become a topic of discussion because of their age difference.

The courtside reporter said at the time that they were aware of the attention surrounding their relationship.

“I know it's very risky relationship because of the age gap, but it's a risk we are both taking,” she said in a statement previously aired on Frontline Pilipinas.

Apple also asked people to respect their decision.

“I hope people can be kind enough to allow us to do that in peace,” she added.

Since becoming public about their relationship, the two have continued to face comments and questions online.

Chad has also previously spoken up for Apple when negative remarks were directed at her.

In August, the athlete responded to critics after sharing a Girlfriend's Day tribute for Apple on Facebook.

“Mag-isip-isip naman kayo bago kayo mag comment,” he said as he defended his girlfriend from harsh remarks.

Apple, meanwhile, previously clarified that they only started dating in April 2026. She said Chad had already moved to the Philippines from Canada and that they did not know each other before then.

Despite the discussions surrounding them, the couple has continued sharing glimpses of their relationship online.

In June, Apple uploaded photos and clips of the two spending time together, including moments involving basketball, workouts, and meals.
