On Sunday, June 28, the actress shared a photo of her billing statement on Instagram Stories, which showed a total amount due of P18,964.82.

The actress pointed out the irony of the situation, explaining that she lives alone and is rarely at home because of her demanding taping schedule. She questioned how her electricity bill could reach such an amount despite her minimal time at the residence. Hoping to get the utility company's attention, Barbie tagged Meralco's official Instagram account in her post.

The social media update featured a brief explanation before her direct reaction, highlighting her disbelief over the unexpected billing.
