When asked about the origin of the rumors, Sam explained that there was no truth to the dating allegations and emphasized that his connection with Faith is purely platonic and rooted in long-standing friendship and respect.
"May mga lumabas din sa internet kasi nga may mga pictures na naman. But we're just friends lang talaga. Hindi ito showbiz pero kaibigan lang eh. I respect her. I've known her more than five years ago eh. Recently lang kami nagkita sa isang event tapos nagkakuwentuhan kami ulit," Sam said.
