On social media, the wife of former professional basketball player Doug Kramer reflected on how combining the two forms of exercise has transformed her approach to fitness and made working out something she genuinely enjoys.
“The workout combo I never thought I needed!💪😊❤️,” Cheska wrote.
The celebrity mom explained that she wanted to share her experience because the combination of Pilates and weight training has made her fitness routine more enjoyable and sustainable.

“I’m sharing this because it’s made fitness so much more enjoyable and something I really look forward to. Pilates and lifting are such a perfect match, atleast for me—weightlifting has helped build my strength and endurance, and Pilates has helped my flexibility, core stability, balance, and control when I’m doing my workout. Some are really challenging, but it’s the push I need, and it feels great!”
According to Cheska, she has already started seeing noticeable improvements in both her physical strength and overall performance.
“I’m starting to see some real changes—I feel that I am able to lift heavier and am willing to challenge myself more. I also feel stronger.”
Beyond the physical benefits, Cheska also highlighted how the routine has positively affected her mindset and emotional well-being.
“Honestly, I’m way more relaxed in the gym and overall happier when I work out. Maybe it’s the mindful movement, the breathing, and the controlled movements.”
She added that one of her goals is to continue progressing in Pilates and eventually master some of the more advanced movements.
“I am also looking forward to when I can push myself more to do the more challenging movements in Pilates as I progress. For now, this works best!”
