The heartfelt surprise visit comes as Wally actively heals from a motorcycle crash that occurred along Andaya Highway in Lupi, Camarines Sur, last March.

Following the surprise gathering, Wally took to social media on Monday, May 4, to thank his fellow hosts. On Instagram, Wally shared a photo of the group, and followers quickly noticed that Jose Manalo was amusingly edited into the picture to make it appear as though he was part of the physical gathering.

Expressing how deeply moved he was by the unexpected visit, which marked the very first time he spent his birthday with his co-hosts directly at home with his family, Wally wrote:

“Still can’t get over last night. Sobrang na-touch ako, First time ko mag bday na may dabarkads na kasama nkk overwhelmed. Thank you dabarkads sa surprise at sa time niyo with my family. Solid.”

Giving credit to the individual hosts who brought special treats for the celebration, directly thanking Allan for providing the spaghetti and Maine for bringing both the birthday cake and snacks, Wally shared:

On Saturday, May 2, Wally made his first appearance on Eat Bulaga since his March motorcycle crash by connecting virtually through the studio's giant LED screens. He also shared a photo of his birthday cake on social media to express his heartfelt gratitude to his co-hosts and show his enthusiasm for his upcoming return.

Wally was traveling to the Bicol region with a group of riders when his motorcycle hit a pothole on Andaya Highway in Barangay Bel-Cruz, Lupi. The impact caused him to lose control and crash. Responders from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Lupi station arrived shortly after. They confirmed that while Wally remained conscious, his injuries significantly limited his mobility
