“I’ve got my Holter monitor on today. I was diagnosed with a left ventricular aneurysm. You get that particular aneurysm after a big heart attack. I’ve never had a heart attack in my life that’s why they considered it as congenital. I get chest pains every now and then. I don’t have any activity restrictions.”

She then detailed how the condition was first discovered back in 2022, describing a frightening episode that led her to seek medical attention.

“In 2022, I had chest pain and I had dizzy spells. While I was hanging up the washing, I fainted and we went to emergency. I had an ECG and they found out that I have left bundle branch block. I saw a cardiologist, did echo. Echo is kind of like an ultrasound that they do in the heart.”

Jeraldine further explained the results of her tests, including the size of the aneurysm found in her heart.

“That was the time that they found out that I have a 3.8 centimeters aneurysm (left ventricular). And tomorrow I’m having another echo to see if there are any changes in that aneurysm that I have.”

Her openness about her condition offered followers a glimpse into the realities of living with a heart-related diagnosis, while also emphasizing the importance of regular monitoring and medical care.
