Today I was reminded again that art truly heals. God bless you Ms Amor, all the volunteers at Mbrace, and our friends at Fundacion Sanso.”
She then reflected on how the experience made her feel both humbled and blessed, admitting that she sometimes wonders what she did to deserve such opportunities to serve others using her God-given gifts.
Despite downplaying her skills as a painter, Vargas shared how powerful the moment felt for her, saying it was as if she found her place in that very experience.
The actress also became emotional as she described the children she met, young individuals who continue to show courage and joy despite their illnesses. For her, witnessing their strength was already a blessing in itself.
Ending her message on a spiritual note, Vargas shared a heartfelt prayer, expressing her faith and hope for the children’s healing and future.
“Salamat Lord. Please heal them and let them live long happy lives. Amen.”
