This is not the first time AC has caught the attention of a BTS member. Just last month, fellow BTS member Jungkook also followed her on TikTok, further fueling excitement among her supporters and K-pop fans alike.
Meanwhile, BTS has also been making headlines with their recent activities. The group released their latest album, “Arirang,” on March 20, marking their first full group project since 2022. The album features several tracks, including “Hooligan,” “Swim,” and “Body to You.”
Short for Bangtan Sonyeondan, which translates to Bulletproof Boy Scouts, BTS was formed in 2013 in Seoul, South Korea, by entertainment label Big Hit Entertainment. Led by RM, the lineup includes Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, and has not changed since BTS debut date. In years, the seven-member South Korean boy band skyrocketed to the top of hit charts album after album.
In a recent report by KAMI, Chanty Videla, a Sparkle artist and member of the K-pop girl group Lapillus, celebrated after being followed by Jungkook on TikTok. She shared the news on her Instagram Story and expressed her excitement over the milestone. Jungkook had also followed other Filipino creators, including Niana Guerrero and AC Bonifacio, highlighting the global reach of local talent. The move reflected how social media continued to connect international artists with creators and audiences worldwide.
Last year, AC Bonifacio also drew attention from J-Hope with a dance video she posted on TikTok. In the 15-second clip, she showcased her signature moves while performing to J-Hope’s track “Killin’ It Girl.” The K-pop star reacted with flushed face and fire emojis, clearly signaling his approval of her performance. Delighted by the recognition from the global artist, the former “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” housemate took to Instagram Stories to share her excitement and joy with her followers.
