In a deeply personal social media post, Arny reflected on the moment she and her husband received the devastating news from their doctor that their baby no longer had a heartbeat.
“Ang daming ‘what if,’ ‘sana pala,’ at ‘dapat pala’ right after we heard it from our OB, Dr. Arby Igualada… wala na palang heartbeat si Baby,” she wrote.
The actress candidly admitted that she initially struggled with guilt, questioning her own actions and decisions during the early stages of her pregnancy.

“Hindi ko maiwasang sisihin ang sarili ko—bakit ko pinatagal ang pregnancy test, bakit inuna ko ang work bago magpa-ultrasound, bakit hindi agad ako nag bed rest… Siguro kung hindi ko pinatagal, okay sana si Baby…” she shared.
Her words reflected a raw and honest account of grief—one that many mothers who have experienced miscarriage could relate to. The overwhelming sense of self-blame, she implied, was difficult to escape in the immediate aftermath of the loss.
However, Arny also shared how her perspective began to shift after allowing herself to fully feel the pain and surrender it to God.
“Pero after ko umiyak, after ko mahimasmasan, after ko ilabas lahat kay Lord yung sakit sa puso ko, doon ko naramdaman ang peace na Siya lang ang kayang magbigay—even in the middle of pain,” she said.
She revealed that she found comfort in her faith, particularly in a Bible verse that helped her regain strength and clarity.
“I held on to His promise in Jeremiah 29:11… Yun ang pinanghawakan ko. Unti-unti, it gave me the strength to move forward… to slow down, and to truly take care of myself—emotionally, physically, and spiritually.”
Through her reflection, Arny emphasized the importance of self-care and healing.
She also acknowledged that sharing such a vulnerable moment was not easy for her, especially posting a video of herself crying. Still, she chose to do so in the hope that her story could help others going through similar pain.
“Hindi ako sanay mag-share ng ganito—lalo na ng video na umiiyak ako… but I believe that sometimes, our pain can also become someone else’s healing,” she wrote.
Arny added that her experience strengthened her faith, allowing her to trust God more deeply even in moments of uncertainty and heartbreak.
“Problems teach us to trust Him more. They draw us closer to Him. And in our deepest pain, His purpose is revealed.”
